• Local breastfeeding drop-in groups run by health professionals and breastfeeding counsellors can also offer additional help and support.

- Breastfeeding counsellors are mothers who have breastfed themselves.
- They have trained with one of the voluntary organisations and can give help and support by phone (or occasionally at home).
- They are keen to offer support to other breastfeeding mothers, but please remember they do so as volunteers.
